Morticed post
Morticed posts are generally confined to the South
East of the country, with recessed posts being used widely throughout the
rest of the land.
Central Concrete use steel moulds for consistent quality for both items and this allows for well formed fixing points for the rails.
Gravel boards are available and are designed to lift timber clear of the earth to stop the wood rotting from contact with the ground. The gravel board also retains the soil within the boundary and reduces the creep of vegetation from the adjoining property.
