Concrete manufacture a “Universal” post which has holes every 6 inches. The
post can be rotate at erection to set the holes to the best position for
your job.
This useful item allows you to bolt timber panels or rails to the face, or fix chainlink fencing. You could also use these posts as over length repair spurs or to carry out repairs to a run of fencing without disturbing the elements.
Universal posts are very adaptable; however it is always best to use the posts that are designed for each application whenever possible.
